Qorina

Building energy optimization that knows when not to act.

Qorina reads your BMS, meter and sensor data, finds the waste worth fixing and acts only when the evidence is strong enough. When it isn’t, it holds or hands the decision to your team.

Why buildings drift

Most BMS setups aren’t badly programmed. Nobody is checking them continuously.

Occupancy, weather, energy prices, sensors and manual overrides change every week. The control logic doesn’t. Qorina sits between your building automation, energy data and operations team. It shows where performance has drifted and ranks what to fix first. It starts read-only. Write access comes later, and only if you approve it.

Start with a BMS assessment

Fragmented data

Points, units, timestamps and overrides rarely line up into one usable picture.

Hidden constraints

Comfort limits, equipment wear and thermal lag decide what is actually safe to change.

Unverified savings

Changes get made, but few are measured against a baseline anyone trusts.

What Qorina does with your BMS data

From raw building data to the next action worth taking.

Every step works from one model of how your building responds to weather, occupancy and setpoints. The recommendation, the explanation and the measured result always line up.

01

Map

Reads BMS points, meters and sensors and flags missing, stale or abnormal data.

02

Model

Models how the building responds to weather, occupancy and setpoint changes.

03

Prioritize

Ranks actions by expected value, confidence and operating risk.

04

Explain

Explains every recommendation in plain language your operators can check.

05

Verify

Measures each change against the baseline and keeps only what delivers.

Safety-critical control stays in your local BMS. Qorina analyzes, recommends and verifies.

Safe changes to your BMS

Your BMS changes only when the data supports it.

Every action passes a confidence check first. If data is stale, conditions have drifted or the expected value is unclear, Qorina does not push the change. It holds, or escalates to your team.

01 Evidence

Build the picture.

Combine BMS, meter, weather and operational data into one model of the building.

02 Confidence

Measure what is known.

Check data quality, baseline behavior, comfort conditions and expected value.

03 Action

Choose the safe state.

Recommend or apply an approved adjustment, then verify what changed.

Commit: the evidence supports the change
Hold: wait for more evidence
Escalate: a person makes the call

Services

Start with a snapshot. Scale only when the numbers work.

A paid, fixed-scope assessment comes first. Connected optimization follows only when the technical and economic case is clear.

FAQ

Questions property and energy teams ask first.

What is Qorina?

A decision layer on top of your existing BMS. It reads BMS, meter and sensor data, recommends the changes worth making and verifies what they achieved. When the data isn’t good enough, it holds or passes the decision to your team instead of guessing.

Do we need to replace our BMS?

No. Qorina works alongside the systems already in the building. Safety-critical control stays in your local BMS.

Will Qorina control our building?

Not by default. Deployments start read-only and advisory. Write access is optional, limited to approved points and hard operating limits, with human oversight and a safe fallback if data or communication fails.

How much energy will we save?

We don’t quote a universal percentage before seeing your building. The assessment establishes a baseline, the data quality and a realistic opportunity range. Savings are reported only after measurement against that baseline.

What does the assessment need from us?

Usually a BMS point export or temporary read access, meter or utility data, and a short session with the person who runs the building. We scope the rest with you.

What do commit, hold and escalate mean?

Commit: the evidence supports the change, so it is recommended or applied within agreed limits. Hold: the evidence is not strong enough yet, so nothing changes. Escalate: the decision needs human judgment, so it goes to your team with the reasoning attached.

How is our data handled?

Only the data the agreed service needs. Access roles, data locations, retention and incident handling are set out in writing, including a DPA, before production processing starts.

Technology ecosystem

Qorina is designed to run alongside existing building systems, with local compute and cloud infrastructure selected for each deployment.
